Race day
Fueled by grit and passion, the Footlocker XC Nationals delivered an electrifying experience from start to finish. Capturing the diversity of the race course was only half the challenge—the other half was keeping pace with the fastest young runners in the nation. Through a mix of motion blur to convey the race’s intensity and tight cropping to highlight the raw emotion and exhaustion at the finish line, these photos showcase the powerful intersection of art and athletics.
